Best Dressed Businesses and Residents Christmas Decorations Competition

Arundel is Christmas!
Due to Covid, the Chamber of Commerce had no choice but to postpone Arundel by Candlelight this year, but the Chamber Committees are working hard behind the scenes to transform ABC into a programme of different marketing initiatives, ‘events’ and activities over a longer period of time to support commerce and our community; the ‘Arundel is Christmas Campaign’.
To bring this campaign alive we are creating an overarching programme to showcase why Arundel is what Christmas is all about and that will bring the spirit of Christmas to our beautiful town.
First up…
Best Dressed Businesses and Residents Christmas Decorations Competition:

This is for both businesses and residents and we thought would help bring some Christmas cheer to our town centre and around residential areas to get a sense of Christmas early.

  • All businesses with a ‘street’ presence are asked to decorate their windows / facade for Christmas. The deadline for decorations to be completed is 30th November. Mayor Tony Hunt and the Chamber will do a walk-around on 11th December and choose the winning business who will received a £250 prize to go to their chosen charity.
  • All residents are invited to decorate their windows/houses and submit a photograph of their decorations by the 14th December to All entries will be judged by Mayor Tony Hunt and the Chamber of Commerce on 18th December and a prize of £250 awarded to the winners’ chosen charity.
Further information and updates regarding this exciting Christmas ‘programme’ will be circulated in the days to come, so watch this space!
