Robin Cousins MBE OLY, Olympic Champion and former British & European Champion and World Gold Medalist will deliver an illustrated talk about his fascinating career as a figure skater.

About Robin .... First he wanted to dance like the man he saw on the TV - Gene Kelly. Then he found his white canvas, a sheet of ice and he was 'home'. But how does a seventeen year old cope when told your dream and career are possibly over? Well 3 surgeries and 3 years later, he stood on the top podium with an Olympic Gold Medal!

And that was just the beginning!

Robin will be sharing stories from Olympic medals to Royal Skating Parties, a career in the West End and where a swimming pool, Michael Crawford, London 2012 and Chicago gave me him, he recalls, 'the perfect storm.'

Robin is an inspiration in free skating , he has also been a guest presenter and commentator for BBC Sport, European & World Skating Championships and the Winter Olympics and is a brilliant speaker.

The local children's charity, The Sussex Snowdrop Trust is holding this special night at The Nest, part of the Chichester Festival Theatre. The Nest is the new performance venue which is a perfect for this event.
