Created by Joyce Robinson, a brilliant pioneer in gravel gardening, and former home of influential landscape designer, John Brookes MBE, Denmans is a Grade II registered post- war garden of 4 acres renowned for its curvilinear layout and complex plantings. Enjoy colour, unusual plants, structure and fragrance in the dry riverbeds, gravel gardens, intimate Walled Garden, ponds and Conservatory year-round. Denmans-grown plants, vintage garden ornaments, house accessories and garden accessories as well as work by local artists and makers are available in the gift shop and plant centre and self serve hot drinks, cold beverages and snacks in the treat shop.
