By the time the Doomsday book was written in 1086, Arundel was already a flourishing market town.
The monthly Arundel Farmers’ Market continues to attract local shoppers and visitors from far and wide with a selection of Sussex food and drink. On the third Saturday of every month, independent growers, producers and bakers, throng to the Arundel Farmers’ Market, to fill the town square with humming market sounds and the smell of delicious fresh food.
Every year, Arundel also hosts a variety of seasonal and themed markets and fairs, which celebrate vintage fashion and style or locally-produced food and drink.
