 Sport, sport and more sport…

Set on the southern edge of the South Downs National Park, Angmering has been inhabited since the Bronze Age. Now within the village you will find Ham Manor Golf Club, Worthing Rugby Football Club, Angmering Football Club and Lanes Health Club.

Angmering Park offers miles of public paths for walking, mountain bike riding and horse riding. If you visit Angmering Park Estate woods in the spring, you will enjoy carpets of bluebells as far as your eyes can see.

The centre of Angmering village has a good selection of shops and its own railway station about three quarters of a mile south. Set at the top of Angmering, up on the Downs, Highdown Gardens are well worth a visit.  Set within an old chalk quarry, there is parking and access for walks here with marvellous views across the coast. If you climb to the top of Highdown Hill, you will discover a wonderful spot for picnics, with views out to sea.
