On Friday 31st March it’s ‘Wear a Hat Day’ to raise awareness and much needed funds for Brain Tumour Research.

At our hat making studio in Arundel, Isabella Josie is hosting a variety of events for ‘Wear a Hat Day’.

Events include:

Hats & Hair: Students from Chichester college will be creating hat worthy hair styles.

Fantasy Flower Workshop: Create a flower resin array that would be fit for Alice in Wonderland’s adventures.

Hatters Tea Party: Wear a hat, or dress up in your glad rags for our ‘Mad Hatters’ themed tea party.

Selfie Station Arcade: The Old Print Works Shopping Arcade will be filled with Alice in Wonderland / Mad Hatter photo opportunity areas. Pop in and take some snaps to share our fund raising antics with the world.

Pin badge support: Throughout the week a variety of Arundel’s shops and cafes will be selling official ‘Wear a Hat’ pin badges to raise awareness and funds for Brain Tumour Research.

All the events are free to attend, but we would welcome donations for Brain Tumour Research on the day or via the Just Giving platform.

To help us manage numbers we are asking people to book ahead via our workshop section of our website www.isabellajosie.com

About Wear a Hat Day

Wear A Hat Day takes place on Friday 31st March and I’m raising awareness and funds for Brain Tumour Research. After losing close friends due to brain tumours and seeing the impact on those still living with them this charity is close to my heart. So, lets all ‘don a hat’ and give what we can for science to and help research breakthroughs happen.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer, yet historically just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. Getting involved in Wear A Hat Day will help the charity get closer to its vision of finding a cure for all types of brain tumours.

Funds and awareness raised support the charity’s vital campaigning to increase the national investment in brain tumour research, as well as sustaining the pioneering research being undertaken at Brain Tumour Research Centres of Excellence where scientists are working tirelessly to find a cure for all types of brain tumours.
